Dog imports: In the Sept. 15 Section A, an article on the import of dogs into California has been updated online to include a comment from a representative of Doodles Los Angeles, one of the companies mentioned, claiming that it does veterinarian checks on dogs it imports to make sure they are healthy. http://arstechnica1.netblogpro.com/california/story/2024-09-12/puppy-mill-pipeline
