Austin Shanks’ one-yard touchdown plunge with 2:22 left in the second quarter gave Crespi a 7-0 lead over Servite in a Pac-5 Division semifinal game at the Home Depot Center.

The Celts seemed ready to settle for a 30-yard field goal by Christian Nastos, but Servite was called for roughing the kicker. That gave Crespi the ball on the eight, and three plays later, Shanks scored. It was a 70-yard, 16-play drive.

Crespi has dominated offensively and defensively. Servite has yet to pick up a first down in three possessions. The Friars are fortunate it’s only 7-0.
