SEASON AT A GLANCE: Having signed with Stanford along with his brother, Jarron, the 6-foot-10 Collins has helped the Wolverines to a 15-1 record. Jason, The Times’ All-Valley player of the year last season, is averaging 19.9 points and 11.2 rebounds.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Collins scored 30 points and had 13 rebounds to lead Harvard-Westlake to a 69-60 victory over Artesia for the championship of the Best in the West tournament at Long Beach City College. The victory propelled the Wolverines to No. 7 and No. 9 rankings in national polls.
