Veteran music executive and producer Ron Fair and his wife, songwriter-producer Stefanie Ridel, have quietly put their gated home in Brentwood on the market for $15.5 million.

Sitting on a deep lot of about an acre, the estate centers on a broad plantation-style main house built in 1940 and since renovated and restored. Four other structures, including two guest casitas currently used as separate recording and broadcast studios, also reside on the park-like grounds.

The 10,895 square feet of interiors feature a classic yet with a distinctively contemporary vibe. Subdued hues and dark wood floors lend a masculine look to the family room, which opens to a lounge with checkerboard tile and a wrap-around bar. In the living room, purple accents and a modern fixture create visual interest. The dining room has a mirrored ceiling.

Other eye-catching details are spied in the kitchen, where a backsplash of light blue subway tile complements a similarly colored island. Patterned wallpaper lends a distinct look to a boutique-inspired bathroom and walk-in closets in the master suite. Including the detached buildings, the estate offers nine bedrooms and 16 bedrooms.

There’s also a glass-walled office and a gym.

Outdoors, steps lead down to an oval swimming pool set within a brick deck. An outdoor dining room, a rose garden, a pond, a greenhouse and a playground fill out the remaining grounds.

The couple bought the house eight years ago for $7.25 million, records show.

Billy Rose of The Agency holds the listing, according to the brokerage’s website.

Fair has launched and produced such artists as Christina Aguilera, the Black Eyed Peas, Keyshia Cole and Vanessa Carlton. The longtime A&R executive previously served as chairman of Geffen Records and chief creative officer for Virgin Records.

Riedel is known for forming and performing with the all-girl Wild Orchid, which also included singer-actress Renee Sandstrom and musician Stacy “Fergie’ Ferguson. She has composed music for the Pussycat Dolls, Fergie and Bonnie Tyler.

Earlier this year, she appeared on the Bravo reality series “There Goes the Motherhood.”
