Actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen appear to have found a new spot in a familiar neighborhood. A trust linked to the couple recently paid $5.15 million, or $350,000 over asking, for a home in Santa Monica.

Sitting on a leafy lot of about half an acre, the traditional-style home sits next door to another property owned by the couple’s trust.

Built in 1922 and since updated, the shingled two-story has three bedrooms, 3.75 bathrooms and nearly 4,000 square feet of interior space.

A wide front porch run across the front of the home, which opens to a sunlit living and dining room with a river rock fireplace. Other spaces include a family room, an updated kitchen and a wine cellar. A one-bedroom guest apartment has its own entrance.

Mature landscaping fills the backyard. A covered and vine-wrapped patio, fountains and lawn complete the setting.

The property came to market in November and sold in under two months, records show.

Isabelle Mizrahi and Dolly Niemann of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties were the listing agents. Chrys Stamatis of Coldwell Banker represented the buyers.

Danson, 70, is known for his role as Sam Malone on the 1980s sitcom “Cheers.” Among his other TV credits are the series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Fargo” and “Damages.” He currently stars on the NBC comedy “The Good Place.”

Steenburgen, 64, won an Oscar for her supporting role as “Lynda Dummar” in the 1980 film “Melvin and Howard.” She appears on the sitcom “The Last Man on Earth.”
