R&B singer Ciara and music producer Future are getting married!

The musically inclined couple got engaged over the weekend with the producer popping the question accompanied by, oh, just a little ol’ 15-carat engagement ring on her 28th birthday.

“Today Has 2 Be Like One Of The Sweetest Days Of My Life! #TheBestBirthdayEver,” the “Get Up” singer tweeted Sunday, adding, “If I’m Dreaming I Don’t Want To Wake Up..Aaaaaahhh!!!:)”

Future, 29, real name Nayvadius Wilburn, surprised Ciara with the ring on her birthday weekend when they were in New York City, the couple’s rep told People.

The couple, who collaborated on Ciara’s latest self-titled album, confirmed their relationship earlier this year, Us Weekly reported. It will be the first marriage for both of them.

The pair have yet to reveal wedding plans. However, there’s plenty of information about Ciara’s stunning bling.

“The ring, which doubled as a special birthday gift, is a beautiful 15-carat emerald-cut diamond designed by Avianne & Co.” the couple’s rep said.

Future helped design the sparkler with the jeweler, and it even has a name: Past Present and Future Emerald Cut Diamond Ring, People said.

Sounds appropriate to us.

The gargantuan ring features a large emerald-cut diamond flanked by two smaller emerald-cut stones, and even more emerald-cut stones encircling an eternity-style band. The bauble cost just over half a million dollars, Avianne & Co. told the mag.

“The ring is a very intricate design which took longer to actually design than it did to produce,” a rep for the company said. “We went through several molds and concept models before landing on the proper design, which allowed for maximum shine and stability in the diamonds. This vision of blending ring styles together allowed for a very unique ring.”

Unique, indeed. Though for us it does hark back to a mash-up of Kim Kardashian’s engagement rings from Kanye West and Kris Humphries ...
