Lindsay Lohan out of rehab but not off the therapy hook

Has it been 90 days already? Guess so, as Lindsay Lohan ended her court-ordered rehab stint Tuesday evening and rejoined the outside world with a smile on her face.

Photos taken as the actress got into a waiting car outside the Cliffside Malibu facility showed a happy, refreshed-looking Lilo.

However, Lohan isn’t done with the court-ordered activity quite yet.

On Wednesday, the day lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley delivered proof that her client had completed the requisite rehab stay, the judge also took the advice given in a letter from Cliffside Chief Exec Richard Taite: That Lohan be ordered to undergo more therapy in order to make the rehab stick.

Specifically, that “The Canyons” star complete three 50-minute counseling sessions weekly, through November 2014, be they in person, by Skype or over the phone.

“Our entire clinical team is in unanimous agreement that if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a setup for almost certain failure,” Taite wrote in the letter, obtained by TMZ.

Sources close to Lohan also told the website she’d be staying with a sober coach for the next few days.

Next week, she’ll be guest-hosting in Chelsea Handler’s chair on “Chelsea Lately.” In early August she’ll also have a sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey to air on OWN Aug. 18, ahead of doing an eight-part docu-series for the same network. The Oprah gigs reportedly come with a $2-million paycheck too.
