Turns out Tom Felton has a bit of bravery, daring, nerve and chivalry in him after all.

The “Harry Potter” actor, who played the boy wizard’s Hogwarts nemesis Draco Malfoy in the franchise’s eight films, has been sorted into Pottermore’s Gryffindor House rather than his alter ego’s Slytherin House.

Hear that, Salazar Slytherin? Ten points to Gryffindor!

The 27-year-old Englishman shared the news Wednesday on Twitter after enlisting in author J.K. Rowling’s online hub for all things Potter.

“Today was the day. I finally did it. I joined Pottermore and was sorted into........Gryffindor. Heart broken x #slytherinforlife,” he tweeted.

For the uninitiated, Rowling’s “Harry Potter” books and the Pottermore website “sort” Hogwarts students and aficionados into one of the magical institution’s four boarding houses: Gryffindor (the noble home of Harry Potter and pals Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley), Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

The latter house -- known for its “cunning folk” -- was home to sneering Draco, his pure-blooded magical lineage and He Who Must Not Be Named, Lord Voldemort. It was also the Sorting Hat’s original choice for the Boy Who Lived himself, but that’s neither here nor there.

Incidentally, the bestselling author approved of Felton’s classification.

”.@TomFelton I could’ve told you that years ago. I just didn’t want to spoil your motivation ;)” she tweeted in response to his announcement.

But that didn’t appease the “Rise of the Planet of the Apes” actor: He took to Instagram to share his on-point reaction.

“Oh bollocks! x” he wrote, sharing a picture of himself staring at his laptop screen’s disappointing results.

Hey, it could have been Hufflepuff.
