Production is proceeding as usual on CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” following the criticsm of costar Angus T. Jones and his YouTube post labeling the comedy as “filth.”

A spokesman for CBS said the show was on schedule as usual, noting that Jones’ character, Jake Harper, is not in every episode this season. Harper at the end of last season joined the Army.

The 19-year-old actor, in a testimonial posted Monday by the Forerunner Christian Church, told viewers not to watch the show, adding that he does not want to be on it. “Please stop watching it; stop filling your head with filth,” he said. “Please. People say it’s just entertainment.... Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television and especially with what you watch.”
