To celebrate the show’s post-post Super Bowl spot, CBS’ “The Late Late Show With James Corden” pulled out all the stops, particularly with regards to its much-celebrated “Carpool Karaoke” segment.

It was none other than Elton John who joined Corden in his car this time around and the two spent the segment chatting and belting out tunes from John’s extensive discography, including “Circle of Life,” “Tiny Dancer” and “Your Song,” among others.

“Carpool Karaoke” got its start as a sketch that Corden did for Britain’s “Red Nose Day 2011” and featured the comedian driving along and singing with George Michael. The idea was then ported over to “The Late Late Show” when Corden took over in March 2015.
