Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is back with yet another television show, this time an outdoor program for the Sportsman Channel.

She will host “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” a weekly program celebrating the “red, wild and blue” lifestyle set to premiere in April. The show will be “an anthology of stories that explore some of the most original, interesting -- and sometimes inspiring -- people, places and pastimes connected to America’s outdoors lifestyle,” according to a statement from the network.

“I’m excited to help shine a light on all the great American sportsmen and women in the country who live the outdoors lifestyle,” Palin said.

“Amazing America” sounds not unlike her previous foray into series television, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska,” which aired for one season on TLC in 2010.

It also marks the latest TV gig by a member of the publicity-friendly Palin clan. In addition to writing several books, the Mama Grizzly herself rejoined Fox News as a contributor this June after a short-lived breakup in January.

Daughter Bristol competed on “Dancing With the Stars” twice and also starred in her own short-lived Lifetime reality series “Life’s a Tripp,” while husband Todd competed in the low-rated NBC reality series “Stars Earn Stripes.”

At the Sportsman Channel, currently available in 32 million American homes, Palin will join fellow 2nd Amendment enthusiast Ted Nugent, who hosts a show called “Wanted Ted or Alive.”

No word yet on whether Nugent or any other familiar faces would be stopping by the show, but we hear Martin Bashir has plenty of time on his hands these days.
