SAG Awards 2015: Armani a bright spot on lackluster carpet

So far, the SAG Awards red carpet fashion has been lackluster.

We’ve seen dull (Felicity Jones in a blush pink Balenciaga column gown), dowdy (Julia Louis-Dreyfus in a heavy-looking Monique Lhuillier gown with long black lace sleeves) and disappointing (Julianne Moore in emerald green Givenchy without that extra oomph).

But when you need to get it done on the red carpet, you can always turn to Giorgio Armani.

Reese Witherspoon looks modern and chic in a one-shoulder gown with matte sequin detailing and a deep scoop back. The gown is fitted to perfection. I also like that she wore her hair in a no-fuss ponytail.

Sarah Paulson also looks reliably great in Armani, a custom gown with a white cape top and black crepe skirt.

Other Armani-ites tonight? Emmy Rossum, Richard Linklater, Eric Dane and Pedro Pascal.
