Forever 21 launches Valentine’s Day collection and more

Forever 21 is slated to launch a Valentine’s Day collection on Saturday. The collection will feature sleepwear, intimates and holiday graphic shirts and sweaters in red and vibrant pinks. Prices for the items range from $3.80 to $19.80.

Fine jewelry designer Lecil Henderson of the Henderson Collection will be making an in-store appearance to show off his new collection. Henderson will be at Tala Jewelers at 1302 Montana Ave. in Santa Monica on Feb. 9 from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. and at Sarah Leonard Jewelers at 1055 Westwood Blvd. in Westwood Village, on Feb. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Japanese collector and journalist Rin Tanaka will produce the Inspiration Vintage, Fashion, Art and Kulture Show Feb. 8 and 9 at the Spruce Goose Dome in Long Beach. This year’s theme is “Upgrades” and over 150 international vendors and exhibitors will be at the show offering merchandise on exhibit and for sale including American vintage apparel made from 1900 to 1980, denim and accessories, jewelry and products from milliners, surf- and skate-related products and more. There will also be hair stylists and food trucks. Advance tickets must be purchased by or before Feb. 8 and are $40 (regularly $50) for a two-day pass, $34 (regularly $40) for a Friday pass and $16 (regularly $20) for a Saturday all-day pass. Dan Deutsch Optical Outlook will host a three-day Epic Vintage Eyewear event Friday through Sunday at its Los Angeles store. The sale will include men’s and women’s one-of-a-kind styles and prescription sunglasses at prices ranging from $115 to $1,500. The sale will include styles by designers Oleg Cassini, Karl Lagerfeld, Valentino and others. Dan Deutsch Optical Outlook is at 8358 West Third St., Los Angeles. Hours: Daily 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Garrett Leight California Optical Flagship store on La Brea Avenue is sponsoring a grand opening party on Tuesday. Leight, the son of Oliver People’s founder Larry Leight, opened A. Kinney Court, a fashion and eyewear gallery in 2009 on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice. Leight’s La Brea store will carry the Garrett Leight house brand as well as one-of-a-kind Oliver Peoples eyewear from the 1980s. Garrett Leight California Optical is at 165 S. La Brea Ave, Los Angeles. Hours: Daily 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
