On June 30, some of the best bartenders across Los Angeles will come together for a second round of Art Beyond the Glass, a fundraiser featuring craft cocktails, art and live music.

The event, created by Zahra Bates of Cole’s Red Car Bar and Daniel Djang of the cocktail and spirits blog Thirsty in LA, exhibits the artistic abilities of our city’s mixologists.

Matthew Biancaniello of Cliff’s Edge, Brian Butler of Sunny Spot and Justin Pike of the Tasting Kitchen, among many others, will be showcasing skills in making art behind as well as outside the bar. Photography, painting, music -- even furniture designs from Philip Renderer of Seven Grand -- will be unveiled to the public, some for the first time, at this year’s event.

The event will take place at the Los Angeles Athletic Club in downtown L.A. from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online. Proceeds from Art Beyond the Glass will go to Art Share LA, a local nonprofit that supports the arts. Tickets include cocktails, spirit tastings, bar bites and live entertainment.
