South African “Blade Runner” Oscar Pistorius has been dropped as the face of Thierry Mugler’s A-Men fragrance. Not unexpected, since Olympian Pistorius has been charged with murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend on Valentine’s Day, which he has said was an accident. [WWD]

The U.S. Postal Service is cutting out Saturday deliveries to save money, but it also has come up with a new revenue stream. Officials announced a new licensed apparel line called “Rain Heat & Snow” -- a riff on the postal service’s unofficial motto (“Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stay these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”). Initial offerings will include all-season clothing for men, with plans to expand into women’s wear. And it’s not really all about money. It’s also about “brand recognition.” [Yahoo]
