At the reimagined Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles, breakfast is officially being served. Many of the vendors at the historic marketplace, including G&B Coffee, Press Brothers Juicery, Eggslut, Valerie at Grand Central Market, Jose Chiquito, DTLA Cheese and Sticky Rice, will open earlier and offer breakfast choices in what has traditionally been a high-trafficked lunch spot.

The nearly 100-year-old market continues to add new businesses, with next phase of openings to include Olio Pizzeria GCM, the Oyster Gourmet, Belcampo Meat Co. and Wexler’s Deli. “We’re continuing to increase the range of flavors and cuisines available to visitors,” the market’s director of business development, Christophe Farber, said in a statement.

The market hours have been 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., but vendors will be opening as early as 7 a.m. The market also plans to extend evening hours at some point.
