You’re at your desk. It’s noon. And all you want to do is dig into a Philippe’s French dip sandwich and get a little jus on your keyboard. Now, you can actually make it happen — if you live or work within a five-mile radius of Philippe the Original, the century-plus-old institution in downtown Los Angeles.

The restaurant, which claims to be the birthplace of the French dip sandwich, has been around since 1908. It recently partnered with Caviar, a local food delivery service. So, starting immediately, you can get your French dip delivered. Translation: no lines.

In addition to the sandwich — which you can get with beef, ham, pork, turkey, lamb or pastrami — you can order soup, sides and pie. Pie! And do not forget to request some of the restaurant’s this-hurts-but-it’s-so-good spicy mustard.

Delivery is available daily 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The delivery fee ranges from free to $5.99, depending on your distance from the restaurant.

You can download the free Caviar delivery app for Android or iPhone.
