On Wednesday, the Philadelphia 76ers waived two former Lakers.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Sixers released Kwame Brown and Darius Morris.

Brown, a former No. 1 overall pick of the Washington Wizards, played 2 1/2 seasons with the Lakers before a blockbuster trade sent him to the Memphis Grizzlies for Pau Gasol.

The 6-foot-11 Brown didn’t make an appearance for the Sixers this season. Last year he played 22 games, averaging 1.9 points and 3.4 rebounds a night.

The Lakers drafted Morris with the 41st overall pick in 2011. After two seasons, the Lakers chose not to make Morris a qualifying offer, allowing him to leave as an unrestricted free agent.

Morris played 12 games for the Sixers, averaging 6.9 points and 2.6 assists on 43.3% shooting from the field and 41.7% from three-point range.
