The Stanley Cup final dates are official. In Southern California the question is, will the Ducks be one of the finalists?

If the Ducks win Saturday’s Game 7 of the NHL Western Conference finals against the Chicago Blackhawks at Honda Center, they will open the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday either at home or away, depending upon who wins Friday’s Game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals.

If the New York Rangers defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning, Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Final will be in New York. Whoever advances, the club with the most points will play host to Games 1 and 2, and potentially Games 5 and 7. The Rangers finished with the most points in the regular season, 113, followed by the Ducks (109), Lightning (108) and Blackhawks (102).
