Her 2017 residency comes 50 years after Ross gained top billing as the wildly popular Motown group the Supremes was renamed Diana Ross & the Supremes. The group’s two-record set “Greatest Hits” was released in 1967 too.

Ross’ success continued after she went solo in 1970. Her hits include “Endless Love” (with Lionel Richie), “I’m Coming Out,” “Touch Me in the Morning” and “Upside Down.”
