Serious sightseers who plan to explore Las Vegas beyond its casinos and pools should think about buying a Las Vegas Power Pass, which has been relaunched.

It saves money on new attractions such as the Stratosphere Tower, VooDoo Zip Line, and the Hop On-Hop Off Big Bus Tour.

The deal: The pass gets you into more than 25 attractions in the Las Vegas area. You can buy a one-day pass online for $84.99 for adults and $54.99 for children 2 to 12 years old; two-day passes start at $125.49 and $90.49 respectively. (Check for sale prices online too.)

When you buy, you’ll receive a voucher by email that you print out and present at the Planet Hollywood Restaurant (inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, 3500 S. Las Vegas Blvd.) to receive your ticket.

You may buy the pass online for one, two, three or five days. It’s good for 12 months from the time you first use it. You can also buy passes at the restaurant without pre-purchase, but they cost $5 more.

Note that the single-day pass covers entry to attractions just once -- except for the Hop On-Hop Off Bus, which is good for two days.

When: The Power Pass is available indefinitely.

Tested: How much the pass saves you depends how many rides and how much sightseeing you want to do.

For example, let’s say you plan to do this in a day: Hop On-Hop Off bus tour ($39); the Stratosphere ride ($18); the VooDoo Zip Line ($27.49), the roller coaster at New York New York Hotel & Casino ($18) and Madame Tussauds wax museum ($29.95). The adult ticket prices to each attraction add up to $132.44, which makes the pass a deal.

It comes with some great savings, but many of the included attractions -- Cowabunga Bay Water Park, Hoover Dam Motor Coach Tour, Lake Mead Cruise, Grand Canyon West Legacy Tour -- take you far from the Strip and take time to get there and back.
