Step 1

At 12:02 p.m., Officer Wilson stops two men and radios that he needs assistance. He backs his vehicle at an angle, blocking the path of the men.An altercation takes place. Wilson is sitting inside his police vehicle and Brown is standing at the window.


Step 2

While still inside, Wilson fires two shots. Brown runs and Wilson chases him. Brown eventually stops and turns toward Wilson.

Step 3

As Brown advances toward Wilson, the officer fires several more shots. Brown is fatally wounded.
