Kenley Jansen, closer for the Los Angeles Dodgers, has bought a home in Palos Verdes Estates for $6.5 million.

Built in 2005, the Spanish-style home includes three levels of living space, multiple balconies and an attached three-car garage. Views from the hedged and gated property take in the city, mountains and ocean.

Coffered-ceilinged living and dining rooms, a center-island kitchen, a wood-paneled den, five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms lie within 6,900 square feet of interior space. A dome-topped family room features a wet bar. For the aches and pains of a 162-game season, there are sauna and steam rooms in the dedicated pool bath.

Outdoors there’s ample patio space, a fire pit and a slate-edged swimming pool with a raised spa. The barbecue station is equipped with two grills and bench seating.

The property came to market in July for $7.2 million and was more recently listed at $6.9 million, records show. It previously changed hands three years ago for $4.9 million.

Raju Chhabria of Chhabria Real Estate was the listing agent. Antonio Davis of Cynergy Realty Group represented the buyer.

Jansen, 30, finished last year tied with Greg Holland for most saves in the National League with 41. The right-handed relief pitcher has made two all-star teams while twice winning the NL’s Trevor Hoffman Reliever of the Year Award in eight seasons with the Dodgers.
