Prince Harry’s romance with girlfriend Cressida Bonas is heating up -- at least that’s the latest from the royal rumor mill.

Royal “insiders” say the 29-year-old British royal is allegedly in a hurry to tie the knot a la big brother Prince William and his wife, Duchess Catherine, the former Kate Middleton.

“Seeing Prince William and Kate [Middleton] get married and settle down has had a real effect on Harry,” a royal insider told E! News. “He’s just seen how happy they are and he’s realized that he wants that too.”

Well, don’t we all?!

Bonas, 24, a model and socialite from a wealthy banking family, is reportedly “very much up for getting more serious” and “they want to remain very much as they are -- with a private life away from the cameras. For now they want to enjoy as much time together before the seriousness of their relationship becomes public with announcements.”

Other sources told the site that the two “basically live with each other these days and are rarely out of each other’s sights.”

The news comes just as the red-headed royal visited Perth and Dubai during a charity tour and a Monday report about the couple’s romance in the UK’s Telegraph newspaper.

The fourth in line to the British throne has known Bonas for a little more than a year and wedding bells may not be too far off, according to the newspaper.

“Cressie is going to marry Harry,” a “friend” of hers told the publication. “He never stops talking about marriage and children, and she has now got used to the idea. The wedding is likely to take place next year.”

Apparently the Leeds University alum has also started “to overcome her fears of marrying into the royal family.”

Bonas’ free spirit allegedly captured “the party prince’s,” heart and he has been smitten with her ever since his cousin, Princess Eugenie, introduced them in May 2012.

She reportedly stuck by Harry during the tumult following his infamous summer 2012 trip to Las Vegas after which naked photos of him were published in the British tabloids. And despite her age and alleged fears of marrying, the romance continued to blossom after he returned from his four-month tour in Afghanistan, during which the two kept in touch over the phone and strengthened their bond, according to Today.

When he came back, they vacationed at a Swiss ski resort where they were photographed giving a few public displays of affection. The two were spotted together at several events last summer, including the “The Dark Knight Rises” premiere and the Glastonbury music festival. More recently, the pair took in a James Blunt concert and just last week saw a performance of “The Book of Mormon” in London’s West End.

Bonas’ “bohemian” family reportedly has royal ties, with her family line said to be directly linked to King Edward VII. She’s the daughter of businessman Jeffrey Bonas, the third husband of 1960s “it girl” Lady Mary-Gaye Curzon, who is the daughter of the 6th Earl of Howe. Apparently class is a big deal in Britain ...
