Three of Southern California’s finest chefs and one of its founding mixologists will be serving as co-hosts at the Taste, the Los Angeles Times’ third annual celebration of food and wine, to be held Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 on the back lot of Paramount Studios.

The featured co-hosts are chefs Michael Cimarusti of Providence and the new Connie and Ted’s, Nancy Silverton of Mozza, and Sang Yoon of Father’s Office and Lukshon. They will be joined by cocktail pioneer Matthew Biancaniello.

This year’s Taste will include five events spread over three days, starting with an exclusive cocktail party Friday, Aug. 30, that will bring together all of the weekend’s featured chefs and mixologists.

The next morning, Saturday, Aug. 31, Cimarusti and Times food editor Russ Parsons will host the Field to Fork event, celebrating sustainable and seasonal food.

Saturday evening, Yoon and Times restaurant critic Jonathan Gold will host Flavors of L.A., featuring some of the area’s best chefs representing the melting pot of Southern California.

On the morning of Sunday, Sept. 1, Silverton and Times Test Kitchen director Noelle Carter will host a Labor Day Block Party, focusing on the best of end-of-summer family fun.

Tickets for the opening-night event are $125; availability is limited. For all other events, tickets are $50 if bought by July 14, $65 in advance and $85 at the door. Los Angeles Times members get a 20% discount on all tickets.
